I teach piano, voice, guitar, songwriting and more. I am classically trained with a background in jazz, musical theatre and popular music. I also specialize in audition preparation and custom accompaniments.

JUDY CRUCES
I teach violin, voice, beginning piano, theory, and the Alamo Music School String Ensemble. I am a classically trained violinist with expertise in chamber string music, chamber singing, folk, latin, and popular music. I also specialize in Kodaly, an experience based approach to music education.
Music inspires creativity and self-expression while building discipline and resiliency. We can develop critical thinking and fine motor coordination with enjoyable melodic patterns and musical themes. Let’s connect the dots and make music together!

VINNIE RODRIGUEZ
I teach drum set, percussion, and beginning piano. I am a classically trained percussionist with two degrees in jazz studies to go along with an extensive professional career playing drum set.
I’m excited to teach private lessons and direct the jazz workshop at Alamo Music School. I look forward to sharing the joy of music with my students.

JESSICA ZHOU
I am a bilingual piano and beginning voice teacher (English & Mandarin) passionate about helping students of all ages achieve their musical goals. I have extensive experience teaching children, teenagers, and adult beginners, and I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s age, learning style, and individual needs. I believe every student learns differently, so I create personalized lesson plans that make learning both enjoyable and effective.
My lessons focus not only on developing solid piano technique but also on nurturing musicality, confidence, and productive practice habits. Whether you are learning for enjoyment, preparing for piano examinations, or working toward performance goals, I strive to create a positive, supportive, and inspiring learning environment where every student can grow and succeed.
